Position Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in residential maintenance and customer service. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining the physical structures and grounds of our community. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our residents and team members.

·        Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance. 

·        Engage in the work of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, heating and air conditioning, painting, repairs to masonry in the apartments and common areas or furnishings of buildings.

·        Maintain swimming pool including but not limited to chemical treatment, cleaning, filter, etc. and report problem to supervisor.

·        Complete light duty maintenance tasks, including caulking, changing locks, replacing screens, replacing doorstops, changing air conditioning filters, replacing light bulbs, etc.

·        Installs and repairs on all electric fixtures and perform other minor repairs to include; stoves, microwaves, dishwasher, disposals, refrigerators and washer & dryers.

·        Complete ground maintenance activities, including but not limited to mowing lawns, trimming hedges, removing weeds, upkeep of common area and pool, and raking and disposing of leaves and refuse.

·        General cleaning and upkeep of buildings including shops, common areas and offices including buffing, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and washing windows.

·        Upkeep of pool (when applicable).

·        Assist other departments as requested.

·        Confer with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.

·        Available for after hour emergency maintenance.

·        Additional duties as needed.
