Sydney Jamieson recognized by NAA's list of 20 in Their Twenties!
Sydney Jamieson cut her teeth in the apartment industry right here in Gainesville while still a student at the University of Florida. In that time, she’s made incredible strides in the industry and currently serves on the NCFAA Board, is Award Party Committee Co-Chair, and is a sought-after instructor. She is the VP of Operations for iLS network, parent company of SwampRentals.com and has been named an award recipient for the National Apartment Association (NAA) 20 in Their Twenties.

Through the NAA 20 in Their Twenties award, Sydney is recognized among the best and brightest in the rental housing industry. Award winners are under 29 years of age and have made great professional achievements with incredible potential for continued growth. Members of the NAA’s 20 in Their Twenties class of 2020 will be recognized at NAA’s Apartmentalize event to be held November 4-6, 2020 at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center in Dallas, Texas.
A Passion for Apartments, People, and Giving Back
Sydney Jamieson is driven by a passion for serving renters through day to day business and working with local apartment associations. “Nothing is more personal than helping someone find a place to live. My team runs a collection of local online apartment guides across the state of Florida with technology that empowers renters to find the apartment that best fits their lifestyle and budget,” says Sydney.
Sydney began her career in the apartment industry in Gainesville, Florida as a Leasing Manager and Marketing Assistant. As her career blossomed, she joined iLS network, a company built by other Florida Gators and continued to realize her passion for the apartment industry. She helped to build various markets with iLS throughout the state and helped to level up NCFAA as her passion for apartment associations grew alongside her desire to serve the rental community.
Sydney has been involved in NCFAA since 2012 in various roles and began the popular Young Professionals Committee. Robert Carroll, Association Executive for NCFAA said, “Sydney is a rising star in our industry. Some of her most impactful contributions have been on our young professionals committee and as an expert NAA certified trainer. She grew the committee to be one of our most successful and engaged and her classes are some of the most requested and highly reviewed year over year. Without her contributions we wouldn't
have reached the successes we would have in the past few years.”
Though she currently lives in the Orlando area, you’ll frequently encounter Sydney visiting Gainesville, building relationships, attending events, and networking and mentoring the best and brightest in our industry.
Sydney obtained a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Florida. She is a Collier Companies Collier College graduate, Certified Apartment Supplier (CAS), Advanced Facilitator Training (AFT) graduate, and a 2014 Florida Apartment Association Leadership Lyceum graduate.
