Course Details:
NSPF certifies those persons who successfully complete the 16 hours of Certified Pool-Spa Operator instruction & pass the examination. The standard CPO class is taught over a 2-day period. The CPO certification is valid for 5 years. The course is designed to provide the knowledge necessary to operate & manage public pools & spas. The Certified Pool-Spa Operator class fulfills the local & state requirements for certification for pool service technicians as defined in many states, including Florida.
If you have an existing, current CPO license and are up for renewal, you can choose the Retest ticket and will only need to attend the second day of class. If you feel you need a refresher, choose the 2-day ticket and attend both days of class.
Remember, when retesting you are not provided a book. You are allowed to bring your book from previous years.
If you have an existing, expired CPO license and are up for renewal, you must choose the 2-day ticket and attend both days of class in order to renew. You cannot choose the Retest ticket.
