You can make more money, but you can’t make more time! This intensive workshop focuses on proven techniques for making the most of your time! • Learn the techniques of Habit Stacking to produce better outcomes
• Learning to focus and eliminate FOMO (fear of missing out)
• Expand your time-cue vocabulary
• Learn to recognize and avoid time traps

• Communicate with clarity to avoid conflict

Radical Candor:
Based on the work of Kim Scott, author of Radical Candor and Susan Scott’s (no relation) Fierce Conversations this session will take a deep dive into the harnesses that keep us tied up in mental knots. Whether you are a CEO, middle manager or first-time supervisor, you will gain insights for improving
and leading at a higher level. As a leader sets the stage for performance the culture can often dictate how effective the team can be in meeting the overall goals and objectives. As Peter Drucher said, “Culture eats strategy for breakfast.” We are all feeling the effects of multiple generations in the workplace, and a major disconnect among all generations is the manner in which they each communicate. Getting everyone to row in the same direction is challenging, not to mention keeping the talent in the boat. To understand what motivates the talent is only half the battle. Communicating in a manner that creates trust and respect is fundamental to coaching and making any sort of course correction. Incorporating a large body of work around coaching and communication combined with research from high performing organizations, this webinar offers the following learning outcomes:

• Utilize a seven step (GSD) framework for tackling tough decisions
• Techniques for giving “feed forward” versus feedback
• The myths around one-to-ones
• What’s missing in coaching sessions
• What gender bias has to do with candor
• The core four in communication

Netweaving VS. Networking:
Networking is hardly a new concept; it’s been around as long as people have been exchanging ideas and information on a variety of subjects including introducing one another to opportunities. Networking as defined by Webster is to “interact with other people, to exchange information and develop contacts, especially to further one’s career.” Netweaving on the other hand is to establish common bonds with others to build upon the “collective genius” in order to gain momentum toward a particular goal or for a mutual cause. The method in which one approaches networking or netweaving is influenced by their generation, experience and personality. The additional layer of today’s hyper-connectivity creates both advantages and disadvantages in a world where relationships can be strengthened or destroyed by a click of a button. To some, networking is a business imperative and to others, it’s innate to a person’s DNA. To most, networking is both formal and informal and can result in long term value.

Learning outcomes:
• Understanding generational approaches to networking
• Debunking myths of networking
• Overcoming barriers and increasing effectiveness in networking
• Approaching networking for the long haul
