Eviction Moratorium
On June 1st, Governor DeSantis issued Executive Order 20-137. This order extends the eviction moratorium (order 20-94) until July 1, 2020 for non-payment of rent.
It is important to keep in mind that if you are a "covered property" you will still have to abide by the federal eviction moratorium that lasts until late July. Note: The order also states that nothing in the executive order shall be construed as relieving an individual from their obligation to make mortgage payments or rent payments.
